📖 Introduction
Nestled in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Badrinath Dham is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India and a vital part of the Char Dham Yatra. 🌄 The Divine Legend
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu meditated here for thousands of years in extreme cold, while Goddess Lakshmi took the form of a Badri tree (Indian berry) to protect Him from the harsh weather. Impressed by her devotion, Vishnu named the place Badrika Ashram, later known as Badrinath.

The Badrinath Temple stands as a beautiful example of traditional Garhwali architecture. Its brightly painted façade, golden Gopuram, and cone-shaped tower with intricate carvings create a heavenly sight against the snowy peaks. The sanctum sanctorum houses the 1-meter tall black stone idol of Lord Badri Narayan, seated in a meditative posture.
